More about the Yucca Motel and Cabins
Conveniently located directly on Highway 54 in Logan, NM, The Yucca Motel and Cabins has spacious parking lots, commercial parking, and a relaxing family area. The gorgeous Ute Lake is only 3 miles away. The motel is steeped in the charm of the Southwest, and people can't say enough about our cabins. Each room has its own exciting theme, central to New Mexico. From fishing to wildlife, and from the armed forces to oil rigs, if it's part of New Mexico culture, it's here somewhere.

The Yucca Motel is a tradition for a great number of fishing and hunting clubs and families. Some of our guests have been coming here for decades, and know the motel better than the staff does! We're family centric, we cater to the hunting / fishing community, and we are pet friendly. In fact, pets stay free.. actually free, as in free beer!

The Yucca Motel has ample parking and drainage for your fishing boats, as well as places to plug them in overnight, if you need to. Plus, the cabins out back actually have enough room for commercial parking, so large boats are no problem. The cabins even feature covered parking, which you can use to park your boat under, if you like.

The Yucca Motel has a complimentary "Fish Hut" (pictured just above) where you can prepare and package your fish, then store them in a deep freeze until you're ready to take them home at the end of your trip. Hunters can also freeze quail or pheasant or other small game animals as well.

Finally, the family areas here are littered with complimentary full size barbecue grills that you can use to fry up your fresh fish, lake-to-pan, or whatever else you want to barbecue.

We also have a deep freeze filled with bags of ice, so you don't have to go find ice every morning before you head out to the lake. We have special small bags of ice, that are just about perfect for use in a motel room, and 5 pound bags for filling ice chests and etc.

Finally, since Logan is a resort area, it has WAY more resources than any small town ought to have. There is a marina at the lake, multiple boat shops, as well as bait and tackle shops, There is a bar and grill and multiple restaurants. Two gas stations, two hardware stores, an auto shop. There is a grocery store, a dollar store... honestly just about everything you could want, except a Wal-mart. I mean, it is a small town, after all. ;)
